When I tried to join I got back this message....

Your membership was denied for one or more of the following reasons.

1. you were a sales rep and wanted to join with the intention of

pushing your treatment or so called cures.

2. you were a known trouble maker on other lists or on this list at

one time.

3. you were looking to join this group for research purposes. This is

a list for support for people with MS and their loved ones. We are

not lab rats.

4. You were trying to push some so called cure or flaky treatment that

is not only not approved but is complete nonscence.

5. You were trying to use our list to support your own fundraising to

which we do not allow people to post to our list for the purpose of

raising funds.

Or you were rejected for another reason not stated here but we are not

required to give any specific reasons.

Friends With MS is a list for people who have Multiple Sclerosis. It

is for the use of support and information sharing. We are a

supportive helpful group and do not allow religious content or

political posts. Support and information about MS and living with the

daily ups and downs of this disease is our main goal.

Fundraisers and researchers need to look some place else for their

information and or funding. Most on this list are on fixed incomes

due to an inability to work because of disabilities. Because of the

financial drain on our families from the costs of meds and treatments

we do not discuss fundraising or pander for money on our list.
