Guest guest
It won't hurt anything. We didn't need taurine for adrenal cortex, just mito cocktail. Guest guest
My son started taurine yesterday. What sort of benefits did you see? Guest guest
I didn't really see any immediate benefits to our daughter when we added the taurine. We were doing it as part of the mito cocktail. Most benefits we noticed when the carnatine was added -decrease in symtpoms- or once we had all supplements on board. Guest guest
What all do you have as part of the mito cocktail? Some how I missed that taurine was important and have never supplemented with it. My mito cocktail was CoQ10, B1, B2, Folic acid, selenium, Vitamin E, and acetyl L carnitine. I give this with enzymes and other supplements right before a meal three times per day. Is this when I need to do the taurine or on an empty stomach? Guest guest
No folic acid in ours. We did B50, not individual b's. Also did zinc and C. C is a typcial chelation supp also, so may already be on board. I followed Dana's list at http://www.danasview.net dana pope wrote: > > What all do you have as part of the mito cocktail? Guest guest
- my understanding is that mito cocktail is basically a range of supportive supps - for supporting cell function, mitochondria...like, certain supps are good for skin, but advice can vary - it is the same sort of thing, except for cells, and if I am not mistaken, a certain part of the cells, mitochondria...corrections welcome, I am, ummm, rather winging it here wishing all the best, elizabeth > > > > > I have ordered both Taurine and Adrenal Cortex Extract for my > > boys. > > > > These are both brand new supplements and I like to add only one > > new > > > > supplement and then wait at least four days to a week. > > > > > Which would be best to add first? Guest guest
> > What all do you have as part of the mito cocktail? Here is the list I obtained on another message board CoQ10 Carnitine Vitamin E B50 Vitamin C Zinc Selenium My son also needed taurine and vitamin K. He also required preloading. Some lists include ALA. >>Some how I missed that taurine was important and have never supplemented with it. Taurine was not included in the " standard mito cocktail " , but I learned that my son did not digest fats, even with mito cocktail, until I added taurine. > I give this with enzymes and other supplements right before a meal three times per day. Is this when I need to do the taurine or on an empty stomach? Either. Dana
