Guest guest
No, not constipated, these are formed stools but VERY soft. Definately not leakage around impaction. If anything, I think his stool is passing TOO QUICKLY. Donna. ________________________________ From: " DavAliNee@... Guest guest
Are they dark or pale in colour? Donna Bowerman wrote: > > No, not constipated, these are formed stools but VERY soft. Guest guest
Hi , They are neither pale or dark..mostly normal brown with an orange tinge. Am wondering if maybe even the probiotics I give are causing this(am scared to stop, as I've done in the past and yeast symptoms return.) Am also wondering if it is bacteria he has, but his stool is never green. Guest guest
Are you using digestive enzymes? It sounds like maybe he is not fully digesting his foods. We had similar problems until I added digestive enzymes back into the supplement schedule. I use Kirkmans Enzymes and Klaire Labs Enzyme Complete. Also, I started giving psyllium fiber around the same time that we saw improvement in his stools, so this could have played a role in helping firm up his stools. I just mix a heaping tablespoon in with some applesauce, it doesn't have any flavor so it's easy to hide in stuff.
Guest guest
Here too - we avoid fiber products, especially the psylliums. They have not been helpful & seem to cause increased belly issues for us. We do eat a lot of fresh fruit/vegs, so would assume this provides enough fiber for us...wishing you the best, elizabeth > > > > Won't psyllium make his stool worse, as he is already very regular and > > has soft stools?...I thought products like Metamucil etc act in a mild > > laxative way. > > Donna. > > > > ________________________________ > > From: Beth <bnorton@... <mailto:bnorton%40roadrunner.com>> > > > > <mailto: %40> > > Sent: Tuesday, 11 November, 2008 3:39:27 AM > > Subject: [ ] Re: Too much fibre? - Stool consistency > > > > Are you using digestive enzymes?
