Guest guest
To D.G., NACO All Respected Forum Members All Networks of Positive People All Legal Agencies working for Positive People Subject: Ignoring the restructure of salaries of the staff of Drop-in Centre Project. Respected Madam/Sir, After observation of NACP-III guidelines showing and committed continually in all programs of NACO PLHIVs must be involved and participating for reducing stigma and discrimination. Drop-in-centre, community care centre, ART Centre all these are under care & support program for PLHIV , but no any new guidelines/budget on NACO Website for Drop-in-centre. This is very unfortunate for us our contribution with our status and working capacity is neglected by NACO, otherwise why salary of Drop-in-centre is much less than others  like TIs project, community care centre etc. These all projects workers are getting more financial kind and attention like counselors of this project get Rs. 6500 PM (proposed salary Rs.9,750 with Rs.475 annual increment ) and Program coordinators of this projects getting Rs. 8000 PM ( proposed Rs.12,000 PM with Rs.600 as annual increments but we the staff of Drop-in-centre are getting counselor Rs. 5000 and program coordinators are Rs 6000 only without any increments since 2005. lately NACO had already send our project budget for the financial year 2009-10 ,this is again old budget. We deserve for more financial kind and attention on the basis of our Nobel services As per the natural Law and Indian Constituently Right we deserve the equal pay to other projects working similar to our project. The Article 16 ensures equality of opportunity in matters of public employment. “Equal pay for equal work is a constitutional mandate (vide Article 39) It is very unfortunate and amusing views those only TI workers and Community Care Centre is eligible to get Revised salaries in NACP-III (they got already new revised salary with arrears with effect from august 2007) . In February I raised same question in ˜AIDS India Forumâ and most of the members of this forum are accepting the fact is such types of issue are hurting the HIV+ Counselor if they not get any increasing of salary and increment we are go to court for justice. Sir, we humbly request you again to revise our salary structure as soon as possible. We are looking for your positive response.
