Applications are invited for

FELLOWSHIP IN HIV MEDICINE COURSE 2009

(One year training programme in HIV/AIDS clinical care)

The Fellowship in HIV Medicine is a postgraduate training programme offered by a

network of premier medical institutions in India. The course is designed to (i)

enhance the knowledge and skills of physicians through high quality training and

(ii) support the institution/hospital to initiate or improve the already

existing HIV care services during the course period.

Course structure:

Total duration of the course is one year and includes:

a) 4 clinical contact programmes at the training institution (6 weeks in total);

Distance learning course (4 months) and

c) Project work at the candidate’s work place (6 months).

Eligibility criteria: MBBS and above;

Participants will continue their regular jobs while undertaking the training.
