Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Is there anyone on this list who is a member of the Weston A Price Foundation? They strongly discourage mercury chelation in their most recent journal, and I'm hoping that there are folks amongst this group who would be interested in writing letters about their experiences following either Andy's or DAN doc's protocol. I haven't read the entire article, but did notice that they also encourage the use of chlorella. I am disappointed, but not surprised by their coverage. Guest guest
Yes...not a paid member but I am on their message board, read his books. I don't really care what they say about mercury..because their theory is that the body will heal and detoxify through proper nutrition..which most of us here know is false. I do believe in Weston's nutritional studies in relation to disease, and teeth. He is right about that stuff. But at the time he was alive and did his research..we didn't have a ton of mercury poisoned children. So he himself did not do any research on toxicity..just malnutrition in relation to modern diseases like dental caries. I think that personally...the organization is stepping outside it's boundaries in giving chelation advice. But it's not surprising. Many " all natural " based groups say the same thing...that chelation is dangerous and unnecessary. That is their opinion. What I know is that whole raw milk and butter are not removing mercury from my kids...ala is. Chlorella made me sicker than sick the ONE time I used it. I had contact at one time with many boards who were into natural detox for mercury...but I soon learned that none of them were getting better and what they were advocating was not scientific..and it also didn't work for more severely poisoned people. So I moved on, and began reading what does work (Andy's protocol with REAL chelators that are proven to work). I mean it'd be nice if we could all eat some green seaweed and be all better..but it's just not realistic. So what I did, was I use some of their nutritional advise for help to nourish my children, but we don't live it like a religion so to speak. I also noticed that some of the parents on their board..vaccinated. I don't think they understand that we live in a toxic world very different from Weston's world in the early 1900's when infants did not get 20 shot of thimerosal....some of those parents on that board have kids with issues who probably need a hair test. But they don't want to hear of it. I only read there for recipes and such. Like we used some of the practical things to help remineralize teeth, using homemade bone broth soups, high vitamin cod liver oil with x factor, rich butter etc. It helps but essentially, my one child needed her thyroid treated and had a severe vitamin D deficiency. My kids just won't eat bone marrow paste...! What can ya do. We could write letters, but sometimes you can't convince other people that their narrow ideas are wrong. > > Hi Everyone, > > Is there anyone on this list who is a member of the Weston A Price > Foundation?
