Most of the day is filled with head shaking, arm flapping, spinning in circles..sometimes screaming. Do we know what this means?? My son is mostly a verbal stimmer. He stims when he is either over stimulated by something or when he is thinking about something, he verbally stims it out. He also will stim if he eats certain foods, we are adding the GFCF diet now. Stimming usually occurs when a child is over stimulated, trying to tune something out or eats something that makes their brain go into overdrive. Guest guest
Stim=self-stimulatory behavior...repetetive and apparently non-productive behavior which often is a way people with ASD try to calm themselves or make dealing with sensory stimulus less painful. Spinning at my house always meant yeast overgrowth. The others meant a few things, one of which was yeast overgrowth. So you might want to increase the yeast protocol, then see what remains.
