Guest guest
I have a 35 lb girl. Is 25 mg ALA adequate to start? Or should it be fully 1/8 mg per pound of body weight... which would be.... 28 mg? Or is it, as they say in China " Cha Bu Duo " Difference Not Great? thanks! Guest guest
25 mg / 35 lb = .71 mg per lb (which is greater than the 1/2 mg per lb that is the max dose recommended under this protocol) 1/8 mg/lb * 35 lb = 4.375 mg (round this to 4 or 5 and you're fine) If you don't figure out how to do the basic math of dosing, you stand a good chance of harming your kid. > > I have a 35 lb girl. Guest guest
difference is great when it comes to dmsa. As an adult I had to start with 12.5mg. Please figure the dose for her weight At 35 pounds this would be: 4.3 mg to 17.5 you divide the 35 by either 8, 4 or 2 depending if your using 1/8mg per pound or 1/4mg or 1/2 mg. So her upper limit is 17.5mgs. My son is 45 pounds and his limit is 20mg and it took him 2 and half years to reach that level of dmsa. > > I have a 35 lb girl.
