No HepB at birth. I don't know how pushy your hospitals are, but some

parents have had hospital staff refuse to let baby leave without the

vaccine! She can definitely wait for this vaccine unless she is high

risk for contracting HepB (IV drug user, prostitute, getting

transfusions, hospital worker herself, etc).

Personally, I would tell my friends to avoid all vaccines for the first

year and then go single vaccines from there... I say the first year

because recommending the first 2 years seems to make their eyes glaze

over and I lose them.

MMR should be separated in to the 3 vaccines if used at all.

No chicken pox, in my opinion. I know there are people who have bad

stories about chicken pox, but it is rare. We are seeing pediatric

shingles cases rising and the vaccine really doesn't seem to be working

much anyway.

There are problems with all vaccines. It is tough to decide which is

OK to give when you can find parents who had problems with each or all.

Probably the best advice I can give the family is to avoid vaccines for

a newborn to allow the brain/gut/immune system to develop/adjust before

injecting toxins and foreign substances, read up on the dangers of

vaccines and then get shots very slowly over the next 6 years before

they are required for school. That is what I would tell someone who

wants to vaccinate their kids but is spooked by what we are saying

happened to us.

Take care,

pam

I second the " no Hep B at birth " . If I were having another baby, the

child wouldn't get any except maybe a single tetanus shot before

Kindergarten. There are alternate schedules on Generation Rescue's

website. I think one doc says " no live virus vaccines and no vaccines

until age two " . There are still major problems with the live virus

vaccines, primarily the problem that they don't know enough about what

happens to them in the body (especially in nonresponders).

She needs to pay close attention to her family history:

Does either of baby's parents have blood type A?

Thyroid problems/disease in family/extended family?

History of allergies/lactose or gluten intolerance in family?

History of anemia/asthma/arthritis/ADD/ADHD in family?

Addictions/Alcoholism?

If she has any of those in her family, I would do some serious research

and give some SERIOUS thought before doing anything. I would also get

a complete blood count (CBC) before vaccinating to ensure levels are

normal.

Sorry for jumping in, but what does Blood type A have anything to do

with this. I am type A.

TIA

No vaccine till the age of two. Follow the following schedule:

http://generationrescue.org/pdf/user_friendly.pdf

We had a daughter two weeks ago and we refused both HepB and Vitamin K

shot. Hospital did not make a fuss but our Ped did. He sent a letter

to us that he no longer wants to be our Ped. Good for him. We have

chosen another Ped who is open to " no vaccine " practice.

Hope this helps,

I would avoid ALL vaccines!!!

Vaccines have terrible poisonous preservatives and such that actually

are killing people.. And given to a newborn or young baby could be

fatal..and has been fatal to many..

A good group to join concerning the vaccine issue is..

no-forced-vaccination/

I also have my own website that addresses the toxins around us that

cause deadly diseases..

http://www.freewebs.com/nontoxicsusan/

Hope this helps..

I would simply suggest none that contain any thimerosal, none that haven't been

around at

least 10 years (e. g. no HPV vaccine for your daughters yet), and most

importantly none for

diseases they aren't being routinely exposed to (e. g. measles, polio) until you

DO hear of

an outbreak, and none for diseases that are benign (chicken pox).

It is very important to not let the baby out of sight of an adult who will

intervene to

prevent vaccinations - they go on autopilot, vaccinate, then don't write it in

the chart when

they see the note they weren't supposed to.

If they don't want to let you leave, just take the baby and leave, if they don't

give it to you

call the police.
