Guest guest
Should I supplement phosphorus to normalize the cal/mag levels? Do you think lithium orotate is needed? I am giving my son enough potassium in food, is there something that could help him absorb it better? > > I posted it in the temporary hair test file. Some kids don't meet them and symptoms with chelation confirm toxicity. He has enough lead that you need to use DMSA along with ALA. After a few months, you don't need to use DMSA every round, just once a month or so. Try some lithium orotate. The hair test suggests he would benefit. It can be calming. I suggest you check archives for Andy's dosing suggestions for children. The adrenal sign is present with Ca and Mg going up and Na and K going down. Adrenal cortex extract and licorice will help with problems like anxiety and meltdowns. Are you giving enough magnesium? High hair magnesium often indicates deficiency or wasting. You can try adding some taurine to improve magnesium retention. His Ca/Mg is low indicating problems with blood sugar regulation. Frequent meals/snacks with protein and avoiding high glycemic foods (such as sugar) is helpful. Adults take chromium picolinate with meals for this problem - again you would need to check archives for appropriate dosing for kids. Na/Mg is low (should be 1-5). This suggests he may benefit from one or more of tyrosine, TMG, folic acid, B6, and B12 to improve mood and energy. --
