Guest guest
Different states use different abbreviations. I work in the field and don't know what DDD or HAB stand for though I have a few guesses. Does your son have and IEP? Are those services included in the IEP? You may need to have them included in the IEP in order to get the services. My brother and sister-in-law had to take their lawyer to the IEP meetings for my nephew in order to make sure they included the services he needed. S S I need help! Guest guest
Not sure about medication, but I am curious. Are chelating? Have you chelated? If not, this could be the long term answer you are looking for. My 10 yo son with PDD/Autism has started to be non-compliant and hitting. He does not have yeast nor bacteria (was tested) no gut issues, so I have to rule that out. I need help to try to figure this out, when does puberty start in boys, could it be that??? Is there something I can give him to make him more relaxed and laid back? Do parents use medication if so, which ones? Any side effects with the medication? Appreciate your responses. Thank you. Jean
Guest guest
HI My son, dx PDD NOS, was also hitting and being non compliant at age 4.. I didn't want perscription drugs so I started consulting a Naturopathic Doctor who put my son on supplements to support adrenal function and to calm his nerves and it made a huge difference. You may want to look into having his hormone levels checked or I recommend consulting with a Naturopathe first. These supps helped calm my son and reduce aggression: Min Chex, Calcium (powder), Magnesium, Neuroplex, Iodemere (Thyroid), Drenatrophin PMG (adrenal) . These supps are manufactured by Standard Process - a Division of Whole Foods. You can purchase from a Naturopathe or online at Amazon. Mix supplments in small amount of juice. I've heard also that Min Chex and Gaba are a good combination in terms of calming though I've never tried Gaba. Hope this helps. Has he been detoxed? Testosterone is somehow a factor in the toxicity of heavy metals, so puberty may bring on some symptoms too.
