I'm happy to say I had some on hand. I usually take this when I have a cold and

it works quite well.

I'm sorry to say I gave it to my boy, 2 doses this morning about an hour apart.

I dropped him off at school and within 45 minutes received a call from the

teacher that he was raging so bad I had to pick him up.

So now I see he cannot take GSE, he cannot take ProBioGold, he does well with

Caprylic Acid, and Charcoal seems to help a lot.

His cheeks are bright red. Is that the yeast, or the die-off?

I think he's much more sensitive now than he was these past years. I will add

things more cautiously, more slowly. 1 small dose and wait 12 or 24 hours

before adding another.

Raging with GSE along with red cheeks says phenol intolerance to me. I have to

give GSE with a No-Fenol enzyme.

How much did you give? You might have caused a significant die off reaction.

GSE is very potent against yeast, in my experience.

This would indicate a probable phenol issue. GSE is high phenol. Try giving it

with No-Fenol enzyme.

Does your son have phenol sensitivity? Sounds like it's a possibility. Have

you tried no fenol?

That was extremely helpful, thank you.

I gave him 125 mg of GSE (1 cap) along with 4400 mg of Capryl (2 caps). I had

already been dosing with the Capryl for the day or two prior and it had helped

tremendously. I'm sure the GSE was the problem.

Looking at his diet, many foods are on the high list. Almond butter, almond

flour, honey, prunes, ginger, apples. I had removed all tomatoes because they

seemed to make him rage. Poor boy.

It seems we definitely need the no-fenol and I recall we had used that a few

years back with bananas. I never knew whether it helped or not and we did not

stick with it. In fact we have way too many capsules and I can't tell anymore

what is working and what is not. It seems to be a moving target. I'd like to

remove everything and start over one by one - any help on hierarchy of needs?

Also - where to buy No-fenol besides online? Just wondering if I can pick some

up over the counter since it's Saturday.

Thank you so much! Deb

It really depends on your specific child and what he needs, and what you are

giving him now.

There are some OTC places but you would have to check on the HNI website, or

wait until Monday morning and call. Sorry, I always ordered it online.
