Dear FORUM,

Sosva Training and Promotion Institute (STAPI) a Pune based Support Service

Organisation for NGOs in Maharashtra. It organizes need based capacity building

training programmes and activities and also work as MNGO for Central Government

projects in health sector.

STAPI has partnered with Family Health International (FHI), Mumbai for capacity

building training programs for multiple partners under Aastha II phase. Aastha

II project focuses on prevention of STI & HIV/AIDS with high risk groups such as

CSWs, MSMs, Transgender and their regular partners in Mumbai & Thane districts.

This being the last phase of the project these trainings will intensify areas of

community mobilization & community management. We therefore need support &

guidance from the consultants who have extensive experience in these areas.

We therefore request you to kindly intimate us if you can help us in training

manual development or regarding any other person who can help us in this

respect. The training manuals are to be developed on the following broad

community mobilization issues.

a.. CBO Management skills - including financial management

b.. Roles of Aastha Gats in Phase II

c.. Public speaking skills

d.. Documentation

e.. Networking & liasoning

f.. Advocacy Skills

g.. Team building skills and motivation

h.. Formation of PLHIV groups

i.. Skills and income generating training.

On hearing from you we will intimate about other details regarding the possible

date of consultant meeting at Mumbai, consultancy fees etc.
