Guest guest
My son did this for about 3 months straight. I thought I would lose my mind. My iPod saved me. When I couldn't stand it anymore I just put on my iPod. My son has PANDAS, and one of his vocal tics progressed into the screaming. I don' t know why your son is screaming but I hope you figure it out. I know how you feel Kerrie In a message dated 11/21/2008 4:05:52 P.M. Guest guest
Kate, How much magnesium do you give him? I found that 300 - 400 mg of magnesium glycinate completely eliminated my two boys horrible teeth grinding. Dana Kate Dorn wrote: > My son Ethan screams all day long!!!! Guest guest
First let me say how sorry I am that your son is going through that every day. He might be in pain, it's possible if he's not verbal enough to tell you anything. Teeth grinding: for me to stop it required minerals: magnesium and zinc. Calcium helps too. -- In , Kate Dorn <katedorn@...> wrote: > > My son Ethan screams all day long!!!! Guest guest
The only time my daughter grinds her teeth is when she has parasites in her gut. She grinds like crazy. As soon as I treat her for parasites, the grinding stops. She also gets very irritable and stimmy with parasites. They are hard to test for so maybe just treat him for parasites. You can use Paragone for Kids by Renew Life. It's great stuff and lasts a long time. My daughter does so much better after a cleanse. They are safe and we all should do parasite cleanses every 6 months, so don't worry about doing something unsafe. I know your pain with the screaming...oh do I know! > > My son Ethan screams all day long!!!! Guest guest
I believe this is from food allergies. My son used to do this too. One time I videotaped him because I wanted my family to see what our lives were like....okay what MY LIFE was like, I admit it!! I was going nuts trying to help him, to pull the family together while dealing with all the angry attitudes the screaming fits caused between all of us. We started taking foods out of his diet. MAJOR offenders for this were Yellow #5 (instant screaming), milk (screaming and aggression hitting, kicking, etc. after a few days), soy (severe intestinal pains causing short temper and screaming). So now we are GFCF soy free, artificial color and flavor free, MSG free and we rotate things he is sensitive to. The things he was sensitive to became apparent after we took out all his MAJOR allergens. Hope this helps. Your family is in my prayers tonight Kate because trust me, I know how it is...God bless you. > > My son Ethan screams all day long!!!! Guest guest
I am sure you would have done this - have you tried epsom salt baths to relax him? Also I give my son backrubs to help him. How about playing some nice calming music and holding him in your arms. These might be just temperoary fixes. Need to find the underlying issue. Hang in there, it will soon pass and your child will get better. Maya From: Kate Dorn <katedorn@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: SCREAMING!! Date: Saturday, November 22, 2008, 1:34 PM Awesome !! Guest guest
Magnesium would be a great idea, it is often used as a muscle relaxer and would probably calm his abdominal muscles/intestinal track quite a bit. Try epsom salt baths if you can't get it in orally. > > My son Ethan screams all day long!!!! When my son was an infant, he cried all day, 24/7. I would not call it a scream most of the time, but he definitely cried all day. He was injured by HepB vax at birth. Then he stopped crying and was " not present " . Most of his crying was caused by food issues. I learned that he tolerated no foods. I used HNI enzymes and then rotated foods to learn what he tolerated with the enzymes. Other foods required mito cocktail, carotene conversion supps, and other things. His mito issues and carotene issues were major problems. He has also been chelated and was a high virus kid. My son was basically non-verbal until he was about age 6. What biomedical have you tried? Guest guest
I have a nonverbal one and he screams at times. We have to listen out carefully and try to interpret his screams.. kind of like a baby. We have a I'm tired cry. We have an I'm agitated scream. We have a pain cry. It's tough. I know.
