Guest guest
I would think e-lyte body bio zinc would be corn free. You could email the company. It's a liquid form. Guest guest
I Use " thorne research " and " Klaire labs " ..... go to their sites and it will list their ingredients and supplements.. My guy could not tolerate any supps with corn derivatives. From: anneecbrynn <anneecbrynn@...> Subject: [ ] Corn-Free / Rice-Free Supplements? Date: Saturday, October 11, 2008, 10:14 PM Has anyone ever by any chance compiled a list of corn-free supplements? I am having a hard time finding certain supplements that work for my son. In particular, I am looking for a good zinc. The corn-free options at my local store are Twin Labs zinc chelate, which seems problematic for reasons unknown to me, and NOW zinc picolinate, which has a rice base. That isn't working well either. I think it might be the rice. For those who remember me, my son's gut is FINALLY moving in a good direction after we removed anything corn-derived (a challenging feat in this country). It was suggested to us that this was a problem by an accupressure practitioner in Chicago. My son's poops are finally moving into the brown from the yellowish/pale yeast/bile issues. We went the accupressure route after being told by a Children's Memorial pediatric GI, from whom we were trying to get an order for an ultrasound of my son's biliary tract to see if we could sort out what might be going on, told me it is normal for 6 year olds never to have brown poops, that my son's autism has nothing to do with the absolute craziness we have seen with his bowels since he got his first round of shots at ththree months, and that there was no medical reason for the ultrasound. Never mind that ultrasounds are neither invasive nor terribly expensive, and that they could rule out a real problem.... The doc should lose her license for that. Anyways, my son is terribly undersupplemented now and I need to remedy that. Besides that, and the fact that he needs to gain weight, he is making lovely progress with each very, very, gentle round of chelation and we are thrilled. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Best, Anne
Guest guest
Here are a few supplements/meds I believe are corn-free. Check them out, though, because there are so many names for corn, I could be missing something: Kirkman Zinc Liquid (Raspberry flavored. It is not the yummiest stuff, but the only thing we have found. Has Citric Acid, but Kirkman says it's products are corn-free unless otherwise noted, and it is not noted on this product. I believe I also contacted the company before we started using it and they said it was from a non-corn source.) Klaire Labs Vital-Zymes Chewable (Houston Chewables have corn) Carlson for Kids Chewable Calcium (Yummy! contains fructose, but Carlson says it is from fruit and not from corn) New Beginnings Nutritionals Chewable Vitamin C (yummy) Springboard D-Hist Jr. (yummy-for seasonal allergies) Lee Silsby Transdermal B Complex Cream Thorne Folacal MB12 shots What multivitamin do you use?
