Guest guest
8 yo ASD son has been pouting & moving his upper mouth/lips the last one week & last night we found that a new tooth is coming out while the existing tooth just directly below this new tooth is firmly in its place & we can't get any dental appointments currently. I last recall our paediatric dentist telling us months ago that there's no way to polish or extract his teeth other than putting him under GA. I'm afraid it's going to make him very uncomfortable & the new tooth is going to be very out of position. What should we do? Should I still proceed to get a dental appointment to get his existing (milk tooth) extracted under GA (the new tooth is a permanent/adult tooth, so I suppose we should not extract that one)? Or let nature takes its course? Sorry I'm getting dental consultation here. Any experiences or inputs given is most appreciated Thanks
