Guest guest
We are finishing my daughter's 14th round of DMSA 15mg and ALA 12.5 mg. We started at DMSA only at 5mg then slowly increased. We have been on DMSA 15mg and ALA 12.5mg for two rounds. So far, she seems to be handling both ok. She is 6 yrs old and weighs about 45lbs. Should I increase the DMSA or ALA? THanks for any help. If so, I wouldn't be in a hurry to increase the dosage, you don't necessarily get more out when you are using more chelators. This seems like plenty of Dmsa/Ala, much more than ours ever took. Trying to go too fast too soon often cause problems. THanks for any help. Sheila

I will keep it at the current dosage for a while. Have you done a urine metal test to see how much is coming out? Last month her stool test came back with goods pulls for mercury. I am going to have a OAT test done for yeast to see if we have a problem there also. So far, I have been treating it with Biotin, and GSE and that seems to be helping. > > > > THanks for any help.
