Why don't you just have them provide a GFCF snack?

I would get on board with enzymes long before changing diet. Good for over

all health and healing. Would also add Zyme Prime and No Phenal or go with

trienza.

About the snack. We've always brought our own snack food, preschool, out to

eat, family events, friend's birthday parties. It's a fact of life and

trust me, he's fine with it. The kids don't care either. With age they can

feel a little out with special birthday treats. Ask to know ahead, and

bring your own special treat. Most the time my son had healthier, nicer

treats than " regular " kids. JMO.

Wanted your opinions on this topic. we have been following GFCF for

about 9 months now for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. She is doing well

and beginning a new preschool this fall. I have been told of a

digestive enzyme and purchased through Houston (AFP Peptide). We have

only used a handful of times. I have been told many have used it

successfully to integrate trying some " normal foods " again. I am

interested in trying this to have her to participate in school snack

as this is such a social time. What are your experiences with this??

Thanks.

My son left gfcf with HNI enzymes, so you can certainly try it.

Its funny...my son has been on SCDsince last OCT. We just started venturing

into GFCF. I made him cookies, birthday cake...bought some other GFCF

snacks(rice dream ice cream)...he will not touch it. I guess since he has never

had swets...he nowdoes not want it. I really wish he would at least try it...

For my #2, even after he tolerated all foods, he would still avoid the

foods that he knew had caused him problems previously. It took a long

time, at least a year, before he would voluntarily eat certain foods.

Even today, 4 years after he needed any diet restrictions, he still

won't eat certain foods voluntarily.

Your preschool probably won't support giving the enzymes with snack,

but you could certainly send her own snack with her. At my son's

preschool, each parent brings a snack for 12 kids when it is their

turn. However, I bring my son his own snack each time because of a

peanut allergy. I've never had any problems with the school. However,

my son does really enjoy the day that he gets to be snack person (I

provide the snack for the whole class) because he gets to eat the same

as everyone else.
