How did you know the Difflucan did not work?  Curious, as we are in the middle

of yeast treatment currently.  My son was on Nizoral first but needed to stop it

due to a colon blockage.  Now he was restarted on Difflucan..  My son is on ASD

from Silsby and has taken it during both yeast medications.  I have not done the

full (100%) yeast free diet but I am limiting offending foods.  Are you doing a

strict yeast-free diet also?  How important is the yeast-free diet when you are

using a prescription med. to treat yeast?

I heard that yeast die off can also come in the form of a runny nose.

Is this true? And could there be a cough with it or is this just a

common cold? I do want to add that there are about 7 bumps on his face

(almost like mosquito bites?????) We are on day 5 of Nizoral. Diflucan

did not work for us.

Also is it ok to dose OLE and GSE together? Is 2 drops a day of each

enough for a 36 lb child?

Can I give L-Carnisone at the same time as digestive enzymes?

Can I give ASD powder (multi from Lee Silsby) at the same time as the

above?

Can I give the milk thistle with any of these?

Thanks!!!!

Alyssa,

Dilfucan worked initially but after a time ot lost it's effectiveness

and his yeast was not going away so we had to switch. My guy is VERY

yeasty even though I take every preveative I can. He does not get nay

yeast no. He is SCD for the most part with the only occasional rice

snack. From what I have read diet is very important with the meds.

You need to also restrict the yeasts food sources also.

Possibly, if the yeast was in the sinuses or nasal cavity. Viral die

off can also come out as a runny nose.

When I had yeast in my lungs, it made me cough. So a cough might also

be die off, or it can be a cold, or cold virus coming out. Are you

giving any anti-virals like vitamin C?

I had to give them together for almost 2 years, because OLE causes

viral die off, and viral die off causes a lot of yeast.

Be careful with giving OLE near any amino acids. Certain aminos will

neutralize the active ingredient.

> Can I give L-Carnisone at the same time as digestive enzymes?

I used carnosine for about a month. It can be given with enzymes. It

did tend to increase copper levels, so best to give it with zinc.

These should be fine, depending on the ingredients of the ASD powder.
