Guest guest
Here's a video link. It's rather lengthy but very scientific and goes into details about the carbon chains in fats. It's important to understand the science before attempting to debate the various oils: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7305832096911620394 Dr. Dina used to teach at Bastyr and is a long-time vegan but not the fanatical type at all. He breaks everything down into numbers and statistics and proves his point with logic and science. I recently took one of his courses and him and his wife are the picture of health. Most vegans I've met don't really seem that healthy, probably because there is a lot of processed vegan foods. Technically a vegan diet could include french fries. Vegans become vegans for various reasons. Some are not that interested in their own health but are more into animal welfare. Some do it for health reasons though. It was a very interesting course. I hope he writes a book some day. He does make a couple of mistakes in the video. One is corrected later and the other is basically a verbal typo where he says a wrong number but doesn't catch it. No big deal but I'm sure someone will notice so I thought I'd mention it. Sharon Hoehner www.sharethecause.com/detoxqueen PS: I'm not a raw vegan myself but recommend it for anyone with severe health issues. It needs to be done right in order not release too many toxins at once which will overload the liver. I'm not going to get into a discussion about this here. Seeing a functional doctor and doing the proper nutritional testing and working with someone like that would be a good idea, especially when dealing with autism. > > I'd love to see it, and I didn't see your post. > > Francine > > epiousian = the expression of agape > > quite a bit more than enough > > > **************One site has it all. Guest guest
Thank you Sharon. I look forward to listening to it. The one I transcribed the excerpt from was fascinating. We've been raw vegan for years. It was hard to tell after the pesticide exposure if it was detox or the effect of it. Slowly but surely she began to get better. As a child, becoming vegan made great improvement for her. (As I said, there was no cf/gf in those days, just the intuition and detective work that spoke about with her son.) Thank you again. Sorry I didn't see it the first time. Francine epiousian = the expression of agape quite a bit more than enough **************One site has it all.
