Guest guest
Dear goup mates, I have been away from internet for 48 hours, but I was overwhelmed by the new topic liver health or topic regarding fixing liver from both MB12 group and autism treatment group. Specially, I noticed that Dr. Moulden himself is also on autism mercury group now. My question here to everyone that how does liver relate to brain, neuro or emotional issues? And, any parents here who have ever used liver health protocol ( such as liver life products) have experienced any progress in brain/neuor/emotion level? And if you have, what do you do to take care of liver? Eager to know.. ( Yes, my son did wake up and cried two nights in the raw now, which is a new development added into his symptoms. He has been a deep sleeper since birth,.... something is going wrong...) Guest guest
The liver is responsible for filtering out toxins in our food and that our bodies are exposed too. If the liver cannot do that properly, toxins build up in the body and that affects the brain and neurological system. As an example, mercury suppressed the liver, and the liver then cannot remove other toxins like food chemicals, medications etc. The liver does many things..and it's vital to health. Having one that does not work properly or cannot work properly will make you sick. This is one of the reason for chemical sensitives or the new syndrome of MCS. I began to get symptoms of MCS as I got sicker from my fillings. However, with liver support and chelation that has been getting better, and my sensitivities are no where near what the used to be. My son could not tolerate most food additives at all. He reacted to them with very distinguishable symptoms. Now that is not the case at all. He has been taking milk thistle for his liver for 2 1/2 years. And we noticed gradual improvements in what he could tolerate and reduced symptoms to things he was sensitive too. We no longer see a huge reaction when he has a food infraction. What does the liver do? The liver is also a large part of the digestive system. It produces bile which we need to transport fats and to escort waste into the colon. It also manufactures proteins (albumins)and blood clotting factor. Metabolize and store carbohydrates, which are sugars the brain and body need for fuel. Without that the brain is not getting what it needs. Form and secrete bile that contains bile acids to aid in the intestinal absorption (taking in) of fats and the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Eliminate, by metabolizing and/or secreting, the potentially harmful biochemical products produced by the body, such as bilirubin from the breakdown of old red blood cells and ammonia from the breakdown of proteins Detoxify, by metabolizing and/or secreting, drugs, alcohol, and environmental toxins You can read more here about it's functions... http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=191 But essentially, if it's not working right, your brain and body are not getting what they need and are getting backlogged with toxins to go with it. This can have profound effects on the brain. When one is not digesting their food well due to lack of bile or enzymes...nutrition is not getting to the brain. Thus..I think Jaquelyn McCandless coined the term well " Children with Starving Brains " . For us milk thistle for the liver has allowed my son to function better. He is not reacting to every smell or food in his environment. Liver support is also essential and recommended by Andy for chelation. > > > From: Rei <milesfunding@...> > > Subject: [ ] Re: [mb12 valtrex] Re: How does liver health relate to brain/neuorlogy issue? > > mb12 valtrex , " Autism Mercury " < > > > Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 8:31 PM > > Dear goup mates, I have been away from internet for 48 > > hours, but I was overwhelmed by the new topic liver health > > or topic regarding fixing liver from both MB12 group and > > autism treatment group. Guest guest
Kes, how has your child been doing after you started cleaning livers, blood and kidney? Do you see any progress? Date: Thursday, October 16, 2008, 11:30 AM Before we started chelation, our naturopath put our son on chlorophyll to cleanse the bowels, blood and liver. Also, epsom salts support the liver, especially detoxing phenols. We take milk thistle as it comes in Bio Ray's Liver Life. Try a google on banaba, we use it for the pancreas and the kidneys.
