Guest guest
Dear AIDS INDIA, Re: /message/11101 The Bombay High Court has asked the Maharashtra government to examine the possibility of allowing jail inmates to have sex with their wives in privacy in the jails, in the name of conjugal rights of the detainees. Maharashtr Highcourts's suggestion to allow conjugal visits in jails in Maharashtra is a progressive step. But, who's conjugal rights are we dicussing about? Male prisoners or female prisoners? We know that, among the jail inmates some percentage of them are female prisoners. What about their conjugal rights. Will the court and the government clarify their position regarding the conjugal rights of women prisoners?. Or is there a differentiations among male and female prisoners regarding their rights?. e-mail: @
