If you've already got too much taurine, then reportedly extra taurine

can add to hyperactivity.

Generally ASD kids are low in taurine, in which case not only does the

taurine help with the formation of bile salts and therefore helps

dealing with fatty acids, but taurine can actually reduce anxiety and

hyperactivity.

We give taurine in the day and at night and have not had any

hyperactivity problems from it in the evening.

Your best indicator will be to trial it and make sure you are not

varying anything else at the same time.
