Guest guest
I believe this topic has been discussed before but I need quick suggestion/feedback. God has blessed us with a daughter today. She is born healthy, full-term. Because my second son is in the spectrum due to all the vaccines; I refused that nothing should be given to our newborn daughter including the Vitamin K shot. The hospital informed our kids' Ped and he called me and was pretty pushy on giving our daughter the Vitamin K shot. He said, every newborn gets it. It prevents blood clotting and brain hemorrhage. He further went on saying that, if we refuse to give our daughter the Vitamin K shot, he does not want to keep any working relation with us. Now my question is, why should we give newborn Vitamin K? If most kids are born Vitamin K deficient than isn't a normal thing? Please advice. Thanks, -TS
