, I think Barlean's is the best. The oil is kept refrigerated and made

frequently. We buy the quart size as you save some money. It tastes great

on a salad.

Hi All,

Has anyone used this brand and what are their comments regarding the

results it produces. I have heard great things about flax seed oil and

we are going to try it next week.

My experience with any brand flax seed oil, is that it can get rancid

before you can use it up. Therefore, we switched to organic flax seeds

and a cheap, electric coffee grinder. We just put a tablespoon of flax

seed in the coffee grinder and grind it to a pulp. It can be used in

just plain water, and drink it, or you can add it to breakfast, lunch or

supper by sprinkling it on. Flax has a great nutty flavor, and the

extra fiber is good too. Just remember using flax this way does add

extra fiber, which depending on gut health could be a shock.

Hi ,

We buy the organic flax seed oil from the Whole Foods Market (their

brand) and we use a hand mixer to beat it together with home made raw

milk kefit to make an emulsion (I read that it enhances the

absorption per the Budwig protocol). I add a bit of organic maple

syrup to make it more palatable.
