Minnesota has significantly higher rates of autism

Recent articles indicate that there is a very high level of autism in

Minnesota. I remember noting that the preservative thimerosal

associated with Eli Lilly and Co. was manufactured by Sigma.

From my quick search, it appears that Sigma is Sigma Aldrich and has

operations in Aldrich MN north of Minneapolis. I am told that many

areas of the state use well water and I suspect potential groundwater

contamination. I also wonder if there may be higher rates of

Parkinson's or MS in the state.

I also believe that Honeywell is located there.

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about the area and the manufacturing

(or even any known superfund sites can shed some light here).
