Guest guest
Sathya, The pink, peeling, painful fingers sounds to me like what I've read about 'Pink's Disease'. Do you think that the dose for chelation may be too high and releasing too much that is not able to be excreted? What schedule are you using? > > Hi, > My soon to be 13 NT daughter is on oral chelation with ALA and DMSA and antivirals, ;lysine1000 mg 3 times a day, OLE 500mg once a day. She gets puss filled painful sores, peeling of fingers (they look like they are burnt) and severe pain in them intermittently. As suggested by Dana to my earlier query, I am giving lots of folic, Bvitamins, selenium, minerals. It helps, but the problem keeps recurring. To add to her problems, the schools authorities and her classmates keep pestering her about this. Please help > Sathya > > > > Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! One of the most successful things we found for this was a supplement called Piracetam, which is said to help fine motor issues. Not sure it would help her other symptoms. There is also Aniracetam, a fat soluble analog of Piracetam. Both of these supplements are regarded as GRAS (generally regarded as safe) and without significant side effects, so they might be worth a try. > > > > Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! The finger peeling issue sounds like my son when he has a yeast problem. The OLE and lysine are anti-virals, and viral die off tends to cause a LOT of yeast. Try increasing the yeast protocol. Be sure to give the lysine and the OLE at least 2 hours apart. Dana

Anytime we have skin effects from die-off, we wipe the sore spot down with peroxide and/or diet tonic water (for the quinine in it). We also wipe our bellies down this way when we smell especially yeasty. Wiping myself down following by a warm or hot shower sometimes substantially reduces the various rashes I sometimes get.
