Guest guest
Turmeric. In the form of Jarrows curcumin 95 is the best tasting out of the capsule. Our children with inflammatory arthritis and uveitis are dosing 1,500mg-3,000mg daily of Curcumin/Turmeric per their alt. med practioners. Inflammation is inflammation so if something works on joint inflammation it will also work for brain/gut inflammation in my opinion. The new study showing melatonin has an anti inflammatory effect on the brain. I don't know the dosage though. Melatonin is given at night. Also look into lymes disease co infections that attack the brain, one of the brain co infectors is remedied by brown algea or Modifilan. I am going to be trying that next on myself. Also...heat, like sauna. Virus/infection/bacteria/organizms that do not belong in your body do not like heat! I am also going to be treating for parasites because I too feel like something is " attacking " my brain, as weird as it sounds. > > My dd could have scarring from a virus in her brain. Guest guest
Also I cannot forget to mention serrapepdidaise for inflammation. It is a proteolytic enzyme. I dosed it in the form of Enzymedica's serra plus. Some of the protezoa coats itself in fibrin. I gave a little dose of NattoK or nattokinaise, a fibrin eating proteolytic enzyme to take the fibrin coating off where these organisms hide in a cocoon of fibrin so the organism killers could do their job. In recent years, I have had decades-old scars on my arms and feet itch like new scars and visibly shrink. It took several years of getting better before that happened. So I would say keep working on killing off infections and correcting nutrient deficiencies. In time, you may yet see the results you want. I no longer have a numb spot in the top of one foot and the nerve damage in my face (which makes it impossible for me to smile on cue) is getting better. Glyconutrients are the only thing that have helped my son become less faceblind, and that's clearly a brain-function issue. In my family, sea salt also helps the nervous system heal, and the brain is part of the nervous system so I assume it helps with that too. For us, the combination of glyconutrients, sea salt and coconut oil has been extremely powerful, far more powerful than any of them alone. The effect of taking all three together seems to be synergistic (a multiplier effect rather than just additive). Good luck with this. Guest guest
I would see someone who does neural therapy, light therapy (Light Puncture: Google Mandel) or perhaps Acuscope (sp?). When you say her brain seems to be on fire, what exactly do you mean? Actual heat or a feeling of heat inside? My daughter had inflammation of the brain and it was causing migraines. Removing mercury was the solution for us but I'm not aware that she had any brain scarring. If I were in your shoes, I'd find someone who knows what they're doing with homeopathy and EAV. Don't go just anywhere. Really research the people you see since a lot of money can be thrown out by people who don't know what they're doing. A doctor or naturopath should be doing this. Anyone can buy a machine! I would ask to speak with patients who had results. Sharon Hoehner www.sharethecause.com/detoxqueen > > My dd could have scarring from a virus in her brain. Guest guest
She said her eyes are tired and she wants to sleep but her brain in on fire. Lots of activity and electricity I think. She has spikes on the EEG. She had a big walnut sized lump under her ear at birth after the Hep. B vaccine. I think a virus got her and now there is scarring. I also think mercury is problem... and I am chelating. I wanted to try something for brain inflammation. I can't get her to sleep. She seems a bit out there during the day. She doesn't seem to get things... like that she has no friends ... and other things. She keeps asking for a glass of milk over and over and she knows she can't have it. She is just never really with us, ya know? Guest guest
She might respond to magnetic energy. It will break down some scar tissue and probably be quite helpful. Many children with Autism, ADD, ADHD, etc do very well with magnets. It's not what I would call a cure but it will definitely help with sleep and calm her brain. I have a few files that I could send you if you like: detoxexpert@.... Basically it will even out the circulation. Not a very scientific explanation but thermography will show how certain areas are quite cold (lack of circulation) and they will warm up when exposed to a magnetic field. On the opposite side, an inflamed area will cool down. I spent my entire life until about 7 years ago as a total insomniac. The magnets were a real blessing. Seizures, stroke damage, MS, etc all tend to respond quickly to magnetic energy. In a very toxic person, there will be a worsening first so lots of water is necessary and ideally a liver support should be taken (I like Hepeel by Heel, one ampule a week under the tongue--it has never given anyone I know side effects like most homeopathic remedies but I've occasionally seen the skin transformed almost overnight after a person takes it). That Hep B vaccine is nasty. One of my friends developed MS after getting her mandatory shot for working in a doctor's office. I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I really hope I live to see the day that vaccines are banned. Sharon Hoehner www.sharethecause.com/detoxqueen > > > > > > My dd could have scarring from a virus in her brain. Eight simple sugars, supposedly the sugar equivalent of amino acids in protein (the building blocks of more complex ones). I have found that eating combinations of carbs can partially substitute for ambrotose when I am unable to afford it. Trying again: You might know it better as ambrotose, though that's not the only brand available. As I understand it, it is 8 simple sugars which serve as the building blocks for more complex sugars, much the way amino acids are building blocks for other proteins. I have found that combining healthy carbs in a single meal serves as a partial substitute for ambrotose when I don't have the money for it. Guest guest
, I used Repair Gold enzymes to reduce my son's inflammation (which reduced his depression) but I'm not sure where the inflammation is (in his body) although I suspect the brain. Call Enzymedica and I think they will offer you a free bottle of it to try. Worth a try. I saw on a post one day from Defelice said that the enzyme Serratiopeptidase is anti-inflammatory and so tried it. Guest guest
Don't know about the Alzheimers, but autism in India is massive and growing. There are a few very active campaigner's in india trying to battle against the experimental vaccine program that goes no there. There are seeing all sorts of health problems in villiages, where they have never seen them before. So naturally some Indian people blame the vaccines and are trying to do something about it. This could be why there are low numbers of alzeimers there. ________________________________ From: Donna Bowerman <donna12345au@...> Sent: Saturday, November 29, 2008 10:18:55 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Re: BrainScarring Sorry to jump in here, but I've just read a piece in a magazine that Alzheimer's is very low in India, because they include TURMERIC in their curries. Guest guest
That Enhansa looks promising. I pay something like $10 for Jarrows curcumin 95...and when I called the company they said that they know the research that makes curcumin more absorbable and have added that to their product too. The companies charging more for more absorbable products were more of a scam they told me. Anyway, when I got of the phone with Jarrow about it, I felt confident that I was getting a more absorbable form of turmeric/curcumin also. If you all know any different though, I am keeping an open mind about this, and look forward to hearing about this new thing. How much more than ten dollars a bottle is it? How will we ever really know if one is really more absorbable than another?
Guest guest
about the modifilan price...that is why I haven't bought it yet. Guest guest
yes we have also cooked with coconut oil to try to get rid of viruses...we don't really like coconut oil though, so we quit using it. We used sea salt before but now use redmonds real salt . We have not used glyconutrients, I had looked into it but they were also from a multi level marketing thing and were pricey... i was asking myself, where are the bulk cap it yourself glyco nutrients from now or solaray? Why do the people who invented glyconutrients (is it mannotech-the tea tree oil people, the mlm high pressure sales people keep it proprietary with extra charges onto it to keep it out of reach..seems wrong). Although I would jump at the chance to get a less expensive glyconutrient. I just checked into them and couldn't afford them.
Guest guest
you said " I would suggest doing both hot and cold treatments " . This is interesting. When I walk the trash down at midnight and it's less than 40 degrees and I have no jacket and am not very warmly dressed, it absolutely has the effect of a cold therapy. I used to take cold showers right after a hot bath. Miserable experience and I wouldn't suggest it for a child, but can be very effective. A more pleasant way to lower the core body temperature is ice packs on (or near) the armpits. We have also used ice cubes wrapped in a papertowel that's been soaked in quinine and/or peroxide for localized treatments of some types of problems.
