Guest guest
Jada, In a thread from earlier this summer regarding safer dental composites, you wrote, " I chose one of her products that did not contain aluminum, fluoride or Bisphenol A. It is an acrylate though. But the least toxic of the bunch... " Would you mind telling me the name of the composite you ended up choosing? I'm pulling my hair out trying to find the " best " (least harmful, really) composite for my son, but information is difficult to come by. Many thanks, Daphne

Guest guest
Just bumping this up as I'd also like to know this. How did you pick? Did you find the composite first then the dentist? Or did the dentist work with the safest composite? > > Jada, > > In a thread from earlier this summer regarding safer dental composites, > you wrote, > > " I chose one of her products that did not contain aluminum, fluoride or > Bisphenol A. Guest guest
I asked my dentist to order either Holistore from Den-Mat (800) 433- 6628 ext. 6205 (http://www.denmat.com/restoratives/geristore/msds/) or Unshaded Dicor from Dentsply (800) 532-2855. He was able to get Holistore (no BPA, flouride, or aluminum) and we used it in July ...so far, so good! I've called a couple of dentists and they've told me they use Kerry resins, which seem to contain aluminum from what I see from internet sources. What's the safest composite? What composites should I avoid if planning to chelate? Where is this information available? thanks,
Guest guest
I wanted to update this thread with some information. I emailed Den- Mat, the maker of Holistore composite (also called Holistic Geristore) and specifically asked if Holistore contained BPA, aluminum, or fluoride. I've pasted, below, their response: " Holistore is fluoride and aluminum oxide free. Holistore does contain BPA, bisphenol-a-dimethacrylate. All of our restorative materials contain BPA.
