Guest guest
Hi Dana. I posted about our DAN! recommending sambucol as a good anti viral. (many replied saying that they have used it with great success in warding off the flu and viruses) He says that OLE is too " harsh " and that I should give this to my son instead. Our son has been doing ok with a low dose of OLE each day, along with Epicor, which he says also is " too stimulating " to the immune system and we should stop it, although Sambucol seems to be immune stimulating as well. We have all been doing well at our house with the OLE and Epicor so far, no illness. Do you have any knowledge of Sambucol or any opinion on it as an anti viral and immune booster? Is it something that can replace OLE or be used in addition to it? Is one better than the other? So far this year there have been no illnesses really in our house,(viruses etc) from school. I have been the only one who has been sick, in the sense that I used OLE with no antifungals and had a wicked yeast outbreak, with strep. I know better now. So I keep thinking to myself, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Would appreciate your opinion. Thanks. Irene

Our son has been doing > ok with a low dose of OLE each day, Then I would say it is not " too harsh " for your son. Or maybe the Sambucol is not as strong. Or, you can try switching. I never used Sambucol, so I have no experience. Ask the DAN exactly how/why it is too harsh. >>along with Epicor, which he says > also is " too stimulating " to the immune system and we should stop it, > although Sambucol seems to be immune stimulating as well. Again, be specific. Ask how/why. >>We have all > been doing well at our house with the OLE and Epicor so far, no > illness. Then keep it, and ignore your DAN. Or try the other. Whichever you want. >>Do you have any knowledge of Sambucol or any opinion on it > as an anti viral and immune booster? No, sorry. >>So far > this year there have been no illnesses really in our house,(viruses > etc) from school.
