We have spent our entire Thanksgiving holiday dealing with head lice!  GRRRRRR!

Anyway, I am using oil of neem on their heads.  The oil of neem is so thick, how

did you spray it?  Just warm it?  Or did you have to dilute it with water?  Any

tips?  I thought we were in the clear and then I found a big LIVE lice on her

head again today... after she looked clear for two days!  SOS!

Oil of Neem was effective against lice and their eggs in our house

too! There was a bad lice outbreak in our playgroup and my daughter

was the only one who never got any lice. I had to remove a couple of

eggs from the scalp when I combed her hair a few days after the

exposure. Then I just kept applying the neem oil on the scalp with a

cotton swab then combing the hair to distribute it evenly before

washing it and we were ok.

long THICK hair. 4 years ago, we went through almost a year of off

and on lice, then got it again..... SO embarrassed to say, I HAVE A

LOT OF EXPERIENCE with lice. I did 90 loads of laundry one month!!

RID of lice is to get NEEM from the health food store. I got a spray

bottle (it was made for dogs) and would wash their hair then spray it

with the neem (which made it easier to get a comb through) and then

combed. At first I was dilligent about the combing (every other day

for 2 weeks...) then I stopped combing. The neem is a natural

repellant for insects. SO, it ALSO KEEPS them away (a lot stronger

than vinegar {we had a gal in our homeschool group that did the

vinegar, and wasn't as successful})
