Guest guest
Hi everyone! DS14 has had red eyes over the last few days. The white part of his eyes are full of red veins, in both eyes. We are not chelating yet, but are giving him most of the supplements recommended in preparation for chelation. Your your experience, could this be a lack/excess of any supplements in particular? Thanks for any inputs, Fani
Guest guest
I think you first rule out infection and then you might want to check his blood pressure and liver function. There might be pressure building up in the eyes due to hypertension. Fani Barbosa Camargo de Carvalho schrieb: > > Hi everyone! > > DS14 has had red eyes over the last few days. Guest guest
Thank you for your input, , that totally makes sense, of course. Giving it a bit more thought, once when DS14 was a toddler he had a similar presentation, in one of his eyes only. Back then, the pediatrician said that it could be a virus going in through his eye. He did develop the flu over the next few days, so who knows? DS has been snoring a little at night and has coughed a few times as well over the past couple of days in addition to the red eyes.... We had his liver function tested via blood test a few weeks ago, so that may not be the problem right now? I will be sure to check his blood pressure. If this persists I will take him to the ophthalmologist, then. Guest guest
It takes some time for liver problems to be reflected in liver enzyme elevations so don't rely on that for sure. I am aware of red eyes at the moment as my Jack has chronically inflamed eyes and she also has chronically pale chalky white stools. I do wonder if there is a connection. I give her a homeopathic remedy called 'cal carb' and then the stools turn back to normal color. However I have to be more consistent. I keep forgetting to give her a daily dose. I'll have to check the eye status next time the chalky stools reappear. Keep your thinking cap on :-))) Fani Barbosa Camargo de Carvalho schrieb: > > Thank you for your input, , that totally makes sense, of course. > > Giving it a bit more thought, once when DS14 was a toddler he had a > similar presentation, in one of his eyes only.
