Guest guest
Hi, I had both a Urine and Hair Analysis done for my 8 year old daughter in January of this year. I just had another urine test done and it hardly shows a change yet my daughter has made HUGE gains this year. Our first Urine was in October 2007 and our Second was in January 2008 and between those 2 dates, my daughter's levels changed yet with this last test, the changes are even smaller. We only did 5 rounds of weekend chelation so I know that her levels would not have gone down that way but with the HUGE gains that we have had, I just thought that there would be a significant change. (I understand that you prefer a Hair test and that's why we did it earlier this year to get ready for chelation but my daughter had a difficult time so I thought we needed to do a little more healing first.) I'm scratching my head .... if my daughter's level are the same then why is she improving? S.
Guest guest
I mean, we are doing lessons and therapy around the clock so I know that is one of the main reasons she is improving but she is just doing so well overall that I thought there would be some type of change for the better. Guest guest
In the presence of mercury all bets are off in regards to the reliability of ongoing testing. This is why improvements are the best gauge of how effective intervention is. In terms of biochemistry their is a myriad of reasons why someones health condition can improve or deteriorate. imyconsulting wrote: > > Hi, > > I had both a Urine and Hair Analysis done for my 8 year old daughter > in January of this year. Guest guest
THe question I'm pondering now is should I chelate? You know, if she is doing good now will chelating make it better or worse. If she stems, that doesn't bother me because is doesn't get in the way of her learning; it's the hyperactivity that is the problem. I had a Neurotransmitter done along with the Uringe and it says Moderately Low Dopaminergic Activity, Moderately Low Adrenergic Activity and Mean Serotoninergic activity. I'm wondering if I should try and figure out what supplements (if any) to give or if the testing is reliable....... So ignore the test and keep chelating. > I'm scratching my head .... if my daughter's level are the same then > why is she improving? I don't know what your chelation protocol is, but for example, small amounts of lead or mercury leaving the brain may not show up on a urine test, but if they are leaving her brain, you would notice improvements. Guest guest
> > We are not chelating. If you are not chelating, then it would make sense that the tests are not showing much change. > I originally did the tests earlier this year to see where to start but she was doing so well with supplements only that after starting acouple of rounds earlier this year we stopped. She continued to improve so we kept with the supplement route. I started thinking of chelating again because I was wondering if it would add to her gains, if it was a neccessity in her progression, etc. There was just an initial shock to see that she was having great gains in spite of her toxicity. Is she on a special diet? Do you have to give supplements every day? Once my son was chelated and his levels of nutrients were normalized, he required no special diet and he also required fewer and fewer supplements. Today he needs only one daily supplement. My husband and I wanted my son to have no chance of regression, so that after we were gone, he would be fine even if he ate anything and never took supplements. Chelation was the first step to reach this goal. Besides diet/supplement issues, are there any other issues that your child has, that you would like to address? Guest guest
> I got my daughter's first lab done close to the end of 2007 then off and on we did a liquid chelation called Zeolite and did ALOT of Vitamin C (while doing Enzymes, ProBiotics, Yeast Protocol, Viral Protocols, Minerals, etc.). By the 2nd test in January 08, her Lead levels had dropped a little but Mercury was still extremely high. After the Hair test, we started ALA (3 on, 4 off) but stopped after the 5th round because I could not get control of the Yeast. (Was using Candex and periodically put AC Vinegar in her drinks) If you have yeast issues again, you can try biotin and GSE. This combination worked very well for my kids. > We still have a long way to go so I thought I'd take a look at her levels, get a good starting point and try again. Well, to me, my starting point is extremely messed up, and unlike you guys, I can't just judge a symptom and say, " Okay she needs this for that, " I'm not that experienced. I couldn't do this initially either. It took a lot of observation and writing things down. After a while, I would notice a pattern. My son never really had a " starting point " until after I began chelating. Before chelation, he was all over the place. > Anyhow, I'm going to redo my log book and start all over again, reintroduce everything so that I can have idea of what does what and revisit chelation after the holidays. This sounds like a good plan. Dana
