Guest guest
My parents did not believe in the the dentist nor getting us to practice good oral hygiene. My mouth got taken care of when I was about 21after I graduated and got a full time job and had maybe eight fillings. Ok, so this is 22-23 years ago. I " upgraded " to a white filling back then. Looking back I don't think it compromised my health, or so I don't think. Do you think these white fillings have mercury? I'm so grateful for being taught how to take care of my teeth and hope to pass that on to my boys. We really stress oral care and so far no cavities for them. We do see a mercury free dentist and I do have one mercury filling I will get removed this summer. I guess I've been thinking mercury free since white and put my head in the sand. I guess I'm ready to hear what others think. Any thoughts on these white fillings I had so many years ago if they contain mercury?
