Guest guest
Does anybody know of any alternatives to pulpotomy? My 6 year-old autistic boy needs one because of a deep cavity in a baby molar. Is there a way to fix it without putting that formocresol in there for a few weeks and then putting a stainless steel crown that probably contains nickel, cadmium and lead? I doubt I could get the dentist to agree to pull it, and even if he did, there'd have to be a metal spacing appliance put in (which would most likely contain nickel, cadmium, lead - like braces). A white composite filling wouldn't be strong enough. They said they only will do stainless steel crowns on baby teeth. Does anyone know of any brands of stainless crowns that are nickel, cadmium & lead-free? Thanks,
