Schneider is awesome with all my kids..... he's a big kid

himself. He is very funny and patient, and takes as much time as the

kids need. He has cleaned 's teeth over a 3 session period

(with no extra charge) when we first started so that he didn't push

her..... she really likes going to see him now and he has a good " prize

closet " . We did a " get to know you " visit first, where he joked with

the girls, blew up glove balloons, and had squirted them with the water

squirter..... they were running down the halls in hystics laughing. I

was horribly embarassed, but then figured, well, if the dentist is

starting it, it's OK :-) Plus, there were no other patients in the

office at the time, since it was right before lunch.

We tried a pediatric dentist first (Bruce Baker) who was awful, and my

girls didn't do well with him. Dr. Schneider was our adult dentist, and

one day I asked how he did with kids with special needs. Said he was

fine with it, and had volunteered with Special Olympics for a number of

years in the past, so I figured..... let's give it a try. He is

referring to an oral surgeon to have her 4 eye teeth out (as

per the orthodontist) since he thinks it would be pretty traumatic for

her, and he doesnt' want to spoil their relationship with that

one........ she'd never sit in the chair again!

He's in Rancho Bernardo, just north of Pomarado Hospital. If you can't

find the number and you want it, email me and I'll dig it up for you.

If he's too far for you to go, maybe he could refer you to someone

closer, but we've had such good luck, I'd drive across town to take the

kids to him. He's open M-Th, with late hours (til 7 or 8) 2

nights/week, which was also attractive to us since it allows evening

visits when DH is home..... no babysitting, which is good :-)

Are you involved with DSA here in San Diego? There is a picnic this

Sunday, still time to to RSVP......... dsasdonline.org. What part of

town are you in?

, mom to (10), (8 DS), and Sammy (6)

sweating it out here in Poway :-)

They give off mercury Vapor everytime you drink a hot drink or chew.

There is everypoint to getting them out. Also once they are gone you

will be able to detox, which you shouldnt do if you have amalgams.

you need to watch the smoking tooth video, I think its in the files

Wanted to add a personal story to this. I have a friend who heard that

getting amalgams removed was a good thing. She did it with her REGULAR

dentist, and now has included rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia to

her list of ailments. She had NO improvement in the other ailments.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to convince her that she had it done

wrong and needs to chelate the mercury. She's seeing regular MDs,

taking more of their drugs, and getting worse by the day. :-( PLEASE

have those filling removed safely.
