Guest guest
I have to say THANK YOU TOO, We are on our secound round now, and We get the same CALM you noticed, God its great. He is like a normal kid on the ALA we not doing DMS just ALA, tonight said , Oh NO DRINK ALL GONE!! yeasterday said its raining, and climbed a hill and at top said I at top... I am so great full to everyone here for the tough love getting me on to a real chelator. [ ] First Round with ALA (Thank you Andy!) We started our first round of ALA with DMSA this weekend. We have done 6 prior rounds with DMSA alone. After a stall we added ALA at 3 mg, 1/16 mg per lb. Can I say that this stuff rocks? So little and such startling positive changes. With DMSA our son was very happy, and ate a lot, generally more affectionate. But with ALA, he is completely calm. I was home sick with him today, have strep, and he was a perfect child. Played nicely, watched videos. Used language more appropriately, spontaneously started singing songs from his music class. He never does this. With DMSA he seemed more present somehow, but now he seems clearer. Thank you Andy. Where would be without you? I know we have many rounds to go for months on end, and we will have to raise the dose and there will be inevitable stalls and yeast problems. But all I can think is that those bastards poisoned my boy's brain, and we are now getting a glimpse of what might have been, but for those 25 jabs.... Guest guest
, So wonderful to hear things are going well!!! Tough love is tough, but we really cared. That is why I love this list. People really care enough to say what people need to hear. Love to you and yours! P. Guest guest
We use only ALA, as did Dana. I buy ours from iHerb, but in the future the compounding pharmacist I use is going to get some to have on hand as she too will be chelating. Price will be about the same. Guest guest
I'm here to look into Andy's protocol. Your post was very exciting. I try not to get my hopes up after going through so severe autism with my daughter for 14 years. What did it take for you to get to the point of using ALA alone, what brand are you using and anything else you can tell me to help me get started would be really appreciated.
