Guest guest
Hi, Maya. I never researched this subject deeply at all, but we have Sharper Image's Ionic Breeze. They were bought before this whole controversy. When I had to send one of the units back in for replacement, they sent it back with an ozone converter that just snaps on to it. This converter converts ozone to oxygen. I have this one in my DS's room. My neighbor said that ozone is too drying, and this caused an asthma attack in someone who was spending the night at her house. She bought a different kind that the vet uses in their office (sorry I can't remember the brand!). She has tons of allergies, and the vet's office has never bothered her, and it always smells nice. It's an ionizer that releases oxygen. It was like $7-800. It just needs cleaning every now and then like other ionizers. Hope this helps some!
