Guest guest
You can make a homemade laundry detergent with borax, washing soda, and Fels Naptha or Ivory soap. I've been using this for the last several years with great results. You use only 1/2 c to 1 c for 2 gallons of deterent, but it's good to continuously wash with this combo to remove whatever these 2 ingredients can remove. It's front loader-safe too and VERY cheap! Oh, and it only takes 10-15 min to make. http://www.thefamilyhomestead.com/laundrysoap.htm You can google for tweaks - I probably use about 3/4 c of each because of slightly hard water.
