Demise of Sri Rajendra Shirke

Dear All,

With profound grief, we inform you of Rajendra Shirke's demise last night. The

funeral will take place at 10.00 am at the Lodhi Crematorium, New Delhi.

I happened to know Rajendra Shrike from his Mumbai days. Together, we worked in

UNDP, Delhi, for just over four years. I had met him last in Dec 2009. I cannot

believe that it could be so sudden. He will always be remembered for his calm

approach and nice manners.

Our prayers are with Rajendra and his family.
