Guest guest
, Can you tell me more about this greens diet to help the body be less acidic? I also need help with easy to digest foods as my boys' have major gi issues and do not digest raw foods or foods that they cannot chew properly very well. But that puts me in a dilemma of mostly meats and cooked pureed veggies. I want what is better overall but don't know how to go about that and them properly digest. Date: Thursday, October 16, 2008, 4:31 PM Coughing is the body's way of trying to get rid of toxins.. Mucus and phlegm buildup in the lungs and other places.. Dairy causes mucous... Some mucous is healthy for the body.. The purpose of natural occuring mucous is to help the body get rid of the toxins The mucous that gets formed from dairy....is NOT good.. During detox, you can experience something like that..loosening of the mucus..body ridding of toxins and it causes you to get mucousy..and the cough is your body trying to get rid of it.. Sometimes it doesnt come all the way up and out..so you cough and it ends up getting swallowed into the digestive system...not very good...as that would mean the toxins are being deposited into the already damaged digestive system.. How do I know this..??? I am currently experiencing this..but it is getting less and less as I progress with my detox.. My son has that cough too..but it is getting better as well..and I make a point to ask my naturopath what and why it is...and she does her best to explain..plus I read books and research online.. Vomiting and coughing are just the body's way of getting rid of toxins.. A greens diet will help you naturally detox as well.. It will make the body more alkaline and less acidic.. There is lots of info online about Acidosis.. Check it out.. HTH, Hugs, R > > > My son is doing this really weird thing and I'm not sure what the heck it > is. He seems perfectly healthy.
