Guest guest
I am trying to find out what type of virus it is... is it the herpes virus she has/had in her brain or is it the Hep B virus. It would be helpful to know, right? so I know what to use to deal with the virus. Any suggestions are welcome. ) On Nov 30, 2008, at 9:02 PM, Reynolds wrote: > More than likely it is a combination of factors. > > Stop stressing. Guest guest
You're dealing with a lot of unknowns and a lot of speculation. Even a lot of the testing can give false positives and false negatives, so again it comes back to speculation. I think your best course of action is to form a hypothesis based on patient history and testing and proceed with treatment on the basis of that hypothesis and look for the response. We are not dealing with something that is cut an dry here. You seem to be looking for a definitive answer. From everything I have read so far, currently their is no one on this planet that could give you a definitive answer or solution. So anyone who does purport to give you the definitive answer, I would suggest is merely someone who is speculating with confidence. A good immunologist will tell you that what they KNOW is currently a lot less than what they DON " T KNOW. There are so many inconsistencies and unknowns in the research literature. And the same incosistencies and unknowns are then multiplied at least tenfold if we are just going to look at patient response to a proposed solution. For example, no one has seen exactly the same response or response rate that Stan Kurtz reports he got for his son Ethan using valtrex. So I think you're down to hypothesis and then trial and error, and readjustment based on patient response, which is the way Dana proceeded if I read her emails correctly? It could be because the HepB vax destroyed her immune system [which is what it did to my son] and therefore her body was unable to fight off the herpes virus from you. Try giving lysine. If you notice rashes, warts, or yeast overgrowth, you are dealing with herpes virus. Might be other viruses also, but at least you will know that there is at least herpes to eliminate. Guest guest
I don't get it. When I get a herpes blister on my lip.... I take Lysine....and it goes away. Your saying that if my dd takes it, and she GETS blisters she has the virus? How come I don't get warts and blisters when I take it, and I know I have the herpes virus on my lip?? Guest guest
> > ...and if you give high doses of Vit. C.... and they get rashes and > blisters. What virus would that be? I know specifically that it would include cold/flu viruses. It probably includes most other viruses also. Lysine is specific to herpes viruses. Vitamin A might be helpful for more than just measles virus. Dana

Your saying that if my dd takes it, and > she GETS blisters she has the virus? How come I don't get warts and > blisters when I take it, and I know I have the herpes virus on my lip?? Lysine pulled herpes virus out of my son's brain. It caused " typical virus symptoms " on its way out. So for example, he had ONE wart on his wrist. I gave him lysine and the wart grew huge, and several other warts appeared on his hands. A month later they were gone, and then he developed nasty huge case of plantar warts on both feet. Plantar warts took almost 8 months to go away, and they grew huge first. But the larger the warts grew, the more my son's language and social interest grew, and the fewer stims he had. So the virus was coming out of my son's brain. Dana

Guest guest
Iman is 8 and 55lbs. Yep, I started at that dose; I read on a couple of sites to start at 1250mg and for severe cases 2mg per day so I thought 500mg 2x day was safe. We've been doing it for 6 days now and I haven't seen diarrhea but I'm wondering if what I saw on day one was cramps. She's not having cramps anymore but she has diarrhea today. Now, I'm assuming that is due to the Magnesium (oxide) that she is taking; 250mg 2x day. Dana, should I continue giving the magnesium and drop the Lysine dosage or should I stay where we are at since we have already started? > What is the dosage that u give? (we are at 500mg 2x per day) When my son no longer needed lysine, it caused him to be mean and aggressive. It caused two of my other kids to develop nasty heel cracks. So I would say if you are seeing basically *nothing*, that you should continue it, or maybe increase it. Dana
Guest guest
Last night, I saw some fine bumps around her mouth that extended up to her nose. They were alot but they are really fine so they don't stand out as much. I've seen these come and go in the past along with the boils on her butt. Before I started this, she actually had a boil on her side but its gone now. Guest guest
Let me correct, it was 3 times (Sat and Sun last week) and today. I gave antiviral in the afternoon and she went to sleep about an hour later ..... she never sleeps in the afternoon!!! I don't know if this is a good thing.... the first 2 times, I woke her up after about 20 minutes but my Mom was watching her today and let her sleep for 2 hours!! I just took her temperature and it's 101 which I don't understand as she has been in the house most of the day. > > From: danasview <danasview (DOT) com> > Subject: [ ] Re: Herpes/Dana > > Date: Thursday, December 4, 2008, 9:39 AM > > > > So say we have been doing lysine for 6 days now with no adverse > reaction (aside from cramps on the first day), should I increase the > dosage?
