Just skimmed this thread. rambling thoughts ;) ..I now truly

consider fevers goodish things..used to live in total " nail biter "

land, even tho I did, & do, believe it was " better " let your body do

what it is doing, yk? My migraine girl, when she truly is sick with a

flu or whatever, sleeps during the day - which totally flipped me out

the first couple times it happened. (understatement - she NEVER sleeps

during the day, EVER :) ..now I wait (altho still somewhat a

nail-biter during ;) ...in anticipation of good gains. Afterwards, it

shows most in the eyes - I see more sparkle, more of that kid being

" present " after successfully fighting a bug. Hmmm, having multiplous

kids in the house, means it has become apparent, to me, after a round

of whatever current bug is going around, that those who did not have

the fevers & such, who did not " battle with the bug " - (growl) this is

when I see regessions. (that clumsiness thing comes to mind, esp. in

the babies/toddlers) Having had extreme fevers a few years ago, my

own self, I have also become more comfortable with letting a fever go

its course, than I might have been otherwise...I did do info slams in

the biomed land, on fevers, and that helped with the ideas of hows &

whys... wishing you the best, elizabeth

Yes, I do about 750mg to 1000mg of vitamin c a day.

I found a couple of things on Onibasu about virastop and fever and I think the

afternoon dosage was just too much.  I'm just going to give her something for

yeast tonight (candex).  WHen I decide to ramp up the dosage for Virastop, I'll

just do it during the AM and PM dosages and take it a little slower.

requistie ps...forgot - my migraine girl had some moderate fevers as a

small infant, but none after that, until she was right around or over

3yo...that was after we had been doing alot of the initial recommended

" stuff " for about a year or so...and she was obviously doing much

better (frequently sleeping without melatonin, for one :) ...still

wishing all the best, elizabeth

I have given it to her twice in the afternoon and she went to sleep

everytime. Is this too much?

If it is pulling out cold/flu virus, it can cause " typical virus

symptoms " on the way out. And for some kids, they are sleepy when

they are sick. So it might be that.

gave antiviral in the afternoon and she went to sleep about an hour

later ..... she never sleeps in the afternoon!!! I don't know if this

is a good thing.... the first 2 times, I woke her up after about 20

minutes but my Mom was watching her today and let her sleep for 2

hours!! I just took her temperature and it's 101 which I don't

understand as she has been in the house most of the day.

This sounds like it is causing " typical virus symptoms " on the way out.

dANA --HOW MUCH Lysine--daughter 35 lbs??

Lysine pulled herpes virus out of my son's brain. It caused " typical

virus symptoms " on its way out. So for example, he had ONE wart on

his wrist. I gave him lysine and the wart grew huge, and several

other warts appeared on his hands. A month later they were gone, and

then he developed nasty huge case of plantar warts on both feet.

Plantar warts took almost 8 months to go away, and they grew huge

first. But the larger the warts grew, the more my son's language and

social interest grew, and the fewer stims he had.

So the virus was coming out of my son's brain.

I started with 250mg and worked up. The most I gave was 3000mg 3x per

day, but I don't think I would give that high of dose for a child as

small as yours.
