Guest guest Posted January 30, 2010 Report Share Posted January 30, 2010 Solidarity and Action Against The HIV Infection in India (SAATHII) seeks to fill the following positions for a technical assistance and capacity building program that aims to establish and strengthen HIV services in private sector hospitals in Tamil Nadu through partnerships with the government. Date of Issue: Saturday, January 30, 2010 Closing Date: Saturday, February 6, 2010 --- Program Officers (three positions) – Job Code PPP-PO0110 The ideal candidate would be a post-graduate in Social Work / social sciences with minimum of three to five years experience in HIV/AIDS field. Work experience with hospital setting and program coordination would be an asset. Key responsibilities include Provide onsite support to private hospitals in setting up ICTC/PPTCT program and starting up services Conduct periodic onsite sensitization program to the hospital teams Assist private hospitals in establishing supply chain Conduct periodic supportive monitoring visits for ensuring service flow and the quality of service delivery Assist the training agency in organizing trainings for the  core team Undertake district-wise mapping of other HIV/AIDS service providers, establish network and linkages with service providers such as ART centre/RNTCP/NGOs/CBOs/networks to increase access to HIV prevention, care, support and treatment activities Ensure the functioning of MIS system Undertake regular review and planning of the project in their respective districts through various methods such as Review and Planning Meetings, on-site support to site level staff and field visits and participation in district level coordination meetings. Monitor the functioning and performance of the sites through review of technical reports and other methods Asist in financial management specific to their respective districts Undertake IEC material procurement and ensure their distribution and utilization. Develop quarterly progress reports Attend district level meetings of DAPCU Ensure submission of monthly report /updates by private hospitals The position involves around, fifteen days travel to the sites and will be based at a regional level. --- MIS and Documentation Consultant (one position) – Job code PPP-MDC0110 The ideal candidate would be a post graduate in Social Work/Social Sciences with a minimum of three to five years experience in data base development, data management, data analysis and preparation of research and project reports.  Key responsibilities include •    Coordination with program officers in streamlining data systems at the private hospital •    Collation of hospital wise data •    Development of program reports, process documentation and district-wise progress reports with the assistance of Program Officers •    Coordination and management in-depth facility assessment, data collection, data entry, data analysis and preparation of report The position requires at least five days travel to the sites and will be based at Chennai --- Medical Manager (one position) Job code PPP-MM0110 The ideal candidate would be a Medical Graduate with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Sexually Transmitted Diseases, with a strong HIV/AIDS clinical background. The Medical Manager will be responsible for managing the technical (medical) components of the project.
