Guest guest
What have you been doing to heal his gut? How long have you been trying to heal the gut? In general it is a good idea to get the gut sorted out before commencing chelation. However there are those kids that are so problematic that healing the gut is impossible without some light and preliminary chelation. My childs digestion and yeast issues were actually improved in the long term by following Cutler protocol chelation. tokarentw wrote: > > Hi, I am new to this group, and I see many of you use oral DMSA, but > has anyone have success with DMSA suppository? Guest guest
I know few actually successfully healing the gut with special diet SCD/GF/CF etc... with food rotation. In the IgG test result my son is allergic to almost all the food. It is quite challenge to implement that kind of diet. Besides, his testosterone is triple of the reference range. I suspect it can be due to the mercury bind to the testerone, it will be difficult to remove if that's the case. I am really want to run detox on him, but very curious why no one is using the supository because at least it will not go thru the GI. > > > > Hi, I am new to this group, and I see many of you use oral DMSA, but > > has anyone have success with DMSA suppository? Guest guest
I was told that if I waited to heal the gut to begin chelating, we would never begin. So we jumped right in and worked on the gut while we chelated our son and it worked.
Guest guest
same consenus here. All of our kids have these gut problems. The problem with waiting to heal the gut, is that it will never happen as long as the metals are in the body. It's the metals that interfere with normal gut flora causing candida overgrowth, which in turn causes leaky gut. Removing the metals eventually leads to a cure for the chronic yeast, however, the yeast must be treated in the meantime. Any chelation should inlcude treating for yeast. Removing metals from the body is going to stir up yeast, regardless of whether your use suppositories or oral. It's not the dmsa..it's the metals passing through the gut to be excreted that make the yeast. We are at round 53 now and finally seeing the yeast become manageable and often going away at times. Up until that point we had to actively treat it, daily in fact. Increasing the antifungals on rounds. That is pretty characteristic and what most parents are seeing. That the route makes no difference. Other than oral being much easier on the child. Suppositories are not a very nice thing for anyone. DMSA should be used every four hours and dosed by weight. You don't want to be giving a suppository every four hours... I don't know what dosing/timing your were given, but often I don't see doctors prescribing it based upon the child's weight and the timing the medication lasts in the body. The best way to see an easy time with chelation and reduces syptoms is: dose by his weight 1/8-1/2mg per pound. dose by timing of chelator: 4 hours for dmsa. 3 for ala, 8 for dmps. Use probiotics all the time Use antifungals, increase them on rounds. Use the vitamins and minerals for chelation in the file section. This protocol will ensure things go well. You will have yeast no matter what way you chelate. When I researched all this 3 years ago, waiting for the gut to heal was not an option, nor was giving my then 3 year old suppositories every four hours. If you want to avoid side effects...treat the gut while doing oral dmsa by weight every four hours. > > Hi, I am new to this group, and I see many of you use oral DMSA, but > has anyone have success with DMSA suppository?
