Would a Christmas candle bulb have mercury in it?

Probably not , as it isn't fluorescent, at least not the ones I've seen

in the past.

In case you don't know (and I didn't for years and years), regular Christmas

lights are coated with lead, all of the strand I think. I leave them out,

opened, to the sun and the rain for a while to break down the lead (hopefully!)

Call the company or any company that makes those candles and ask.

We had one break and now I am worried. It isn't one of those energy

saver bulbs, just a regular bulb but I know some florescent lighting

has mercury. I don't know much about light bulbs.

TIA--
