I just took a picture of the test because my scanner isn't working. If you cannot see the picture I can take the test somewhere to be scanned. Can someone interpret this for me? Thanks so so so much! Guest guest
I'm sorry to sound stupid but I don't know what that means! I guess I can look it up. Guest guest
Okay, thanks. I am just reading some of this online about counting rules now. So it's good to know about the mercury. I am concerned about the high arsenic level as I am only chelating with ALA right now. I suppose I will have to add the DMSA back in even though it makes her loony. I do have her on all of the recommended supps except calcium, which I now see she really needs. I need to up her zinc as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. > > > > She does meet 2 of the rules > > > > 4 + in red > > Plus very close on a few > > > > Less than 11 in green white ranges > > > > EB > > > > > > > > > > ____________ _________ _________ __ > > From: michellebondy <myrubygirl@ ...> > > > > Sent: Friday, December 5, 2008 3:04:03 PM > > Subject: [ ] Ruby's Hair Test Uploaded > > > > > > Hi, > > > > I have uploaded my daughter's hair test. The test strongly suggests a thyroid problem, hyperthyroid in this case (Na/K is low and K/Ca is high). Blood tests for free T3, free T4, TSH and thyroid antibodies will be helpful. You have to be very clear in asking for the " free " values because most doctors don't order those. Look at the lab req to be sure they ordered the right tests. --
Guest guest
Wow, thanks. I've always thought she had a thyroid problem, but I thought she was hypo because she's always been a bit chubby no matter how little she eats. Thanks a lot. > > > > Hi, > > > > I have uploaded my daughter's hair test. I just took a picture of the > > test because my scanner isn't working. Guest guest
Means there's a high likelihood of mercury toxicity...and high likelihood that she would benefit from chelation (Andy's protocol) if she has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings. Guest guest
We're actually into our 15 round of chelation. I did 6 rounds in the summer and restarting 9 weeks ago. This test has been sitting at my NDs without anyone calling to tell me. We're doing Andy's protocol. Will chelation help an over active thyroid if she does have one? Thanks by the way! > > Means there's a high likelihood of mercury toxicity...and high likelihood that she would benefit from chelation (Andy's protocol) if she has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings. > S S > > Re: Ruby's Hair Test Uploaded > Posted by: " michellebondy " myrubygirl@... michellebondy > Fri Dec 5, 2008 12:20 pm (PST) > > I'm sorry to sound stupid but I don't know what that means! Guest guest
Well, I could be wrong. The Na/K isn't low out of range. It is lowish, though, and the K/Ca is too high. The test also says there is a problem with blood sugar regulation and that she is making a lot of adrenaline. Hypo vs hyper is not always clear based on symptoms. Blood tests are more informative. Proper thyroid levels are important to brain development. Andy's comments on this are in archives. -- > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > I have uploaded my daughter's hair test. Guest guest
-Will thyroid issues or blood sugar issues be corrected with chelation? Thanks for this information. The adrenaline thing makes sense. -- In , " " <sage@...> wrote: > > Well, I could be wrong. The Na/K isn't low out of range. It is lowish, > though, and the K/Ca is too high.
