EU-India FTA protester got arrested in Delhi

Protesters arrested

About 40 members of Delhi Network of Positive people who are at the peaceful

rally in front of Ministry of Commerce, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi, were arrested

by Delhi Police and now lodge in Parliament Police Station.

The protester were demanding the EU-India FTA negotiation must be Stoped.

This bilateral talks is a serious threat to people living with HIV/AIDS as the

EU are demanding a TRIPS+ provision, which will significantly undermined the

domestic production of affordable generic drugs.

I don't understand why the police has to arrest these peaceful demonstrator ?

Instead the Police should arrest those EU negotiators who plans to TRADE AWAY

OUR LIVES.

SHAME ON YOU GOVT. OF INDIA!!!!!!!!

Today you arrested us but we will not stop our fights, our demands as long as

you plans to trade away our lives.

OUR LIVES IS NOT FOR TRADE.
