Facilitation Team for Community Life Competence for North East India Formed.

The Community Life Competence is a process where the communities think and act

for themselves. Facilitators stimulate them to take action through an approach

that appreciates strength and fosters local ownership.

A group of volunteers from north east India came together

on 14th May 2010 for an interactive session via Skype with the vision to set up

a North East Facilitation Team for CLCP.

The discussion was initiated by Rituu B Nanda, National coordinator, India

Competence and Dr. Zoengpari facilitated the discussion.

After an enthusiasm, energetic and motivating discussion where everyone shared

their views and ideas in a participatory method for the north east region, the

group formed the North East Facilitation Team with the following as members:

10. Dr. Zoengpari, ACP coach, Mizoram

11. Rituu B Nanda, National Coordinator, India Competence, Delhi

The newly formed Facilitation Team, has decided to hold a one day workshop to

re-orient ourselves on ACP sometime in August/September where they will

deliberate on how to go forward.

On Community Life Competence we connect as human beings.

We share our experience with local responses to AIDS and other Life Concerns.
