How many days have you been giving it?

I would give it at least a month, especially if you are seeing

nothing. For all of my kids, lysine caused problems once it was no

longer needed. For #1 and #3, it caused nasty heel cracks. For #2, it

caused him to be mean and aggressive. At this point, I had to give a

few days of arginine to balance things out.

so it could be hleping even if your not seeing a reaction. when i start seeing

some side effects... it may be enough and i should possibly stop, right?

When my son no longer needed lysine [and herpes was gone], giving

lysine did make him mean. I had to give arginine for about 2 days, to

even things out, and then he was fine.

So if you are seeing NOTHING, you might still need to give it. But if

you are noticing MEAN behavior, then that is a sign that herpes is

gone and lysine is no longer needed.
